This year I’ve been trying to be really intentional in the clothes I buy – making sure they really fit my style and that it would contribute to my closet as a whole. I also have been trying to buy some bright colors, since my closet consists of mainly neutrals. And lastly, I have been focusing on growing my summer wardrobe (read: short sleeves) because I love me some cardigans and sweaters and then I find myself seriously screwed when I try to get dressed and it’s 90+ degrees outside.
One of my favorite shirts I’ve bought has been this bright pink {neon!} shirt from groopdealz. {PS, if you don’t know what groopdealz is, go sign up for it now. They’re an online site that rotates great deals from different clothing and decor boutiques every few days. They have the cutest things!} {Not a sponsored post, I just love them.} It’s a casual v-neck with a pocket on the front and very slight hi-low cut. It’s so comfortable and I love wearing it.
I popped it on for our family adventure out to pick raspberries and peaches, and then go to a Spokane Indians baseball game on Saturday and it was perfect. We had so much fun on our little family adventure, too. Those raspberries have since become freezer jam, and the peaches are getting eaten right up. And as for the baseball game? Well, nothing says summer nights quite like sitting in the bleachers with a hot dog in your hand. And Abe did so great the whole time we were out {other than a little crying spell at the game}.

You can’t tell as much in the pictures, and I apologize for not having better pictures, but seriously, that shirt is NEON pink. It’s so bright. Totally out of my comfort zone originally but now it’s in my comfort zone 🙂
