Let’s be honest, I pretty much dress “cute and cozy” every day — ok, maybe mainly the cozy part. Since I’m a stay at home mom, my daily outfit usually looks something like leggings, sweats, oversized t-shirts, or sweatshirts. My hair is either down, or in a pony. And sometimes I wear socks (but only if it’s cold! I hate wearing socks otherwise!). So, for this week’s Creative Closet, I put on one of my favorite (and cuter) stay at home outfits and took a few pictures. (With a self-timer, with my camera stacked on books, trying to catch the last light of day at 2 pm — thank you PNW for getting dark at 4 pm.) Clearly these pictures are professional quality 😉 But really, isn’t dressing cozy such a great thing? I love this sweater — it’s so simply, yet pairs well with leggings or skinny jeans. If I was wearing it out in public I’d pair it with one of my scarves, which would instantly make the outfit more dressy and put-together than just wearing the sweatshirt by itself. Isn’t it amazing how accessories can do that?
