I don’t really own too many things that fall under the “ruffles and volume” category. I usually go for a simple and sleeker look. But, I just thrifted this great purple shirt and knew I had to wear it for today’s prompt! I paired it with a grey blazer, black skirt, lacy tights, and black heels to church and felt kind of fancy 🙂 It’s not my usual get-up, so I felt a little funny going out in it, but by the end of the day, I was really comfortable in it. And so it goes as we try to dress outside of our comfort zones 🙂

PS, I’ve been trying to work with my manual settings on my camera, and it’s going pretty well! Obviously I’m still learning, but I’m enjoying what I have learned so far. It’s amazing what a difference those settings can do — especially lighting wise!
