Small note: Thought I’d pop in and tell you that baby girl is still not here. Bummer! But because I wrote this post ahead of time, and because it’s how most of my November is going to look, I’m leaving it š Thanks for all your comments on the peek into my brain. Just an update pregnancy wise, I re-scheduled my c-section for November 11th, one week from today! So if she hasn’t come by then (and as of my doctors appointment yesterday, I haven’t progressed at all and show no signs of labor) we’ll go ahead and do the c-section early that morning. I feel good about that, as I’ll be 40.5 weeks by then. Keep your fingers crossed that my body kicks into labor before that, though!
Since I’m writing this blog post ahead of time I’m going to go ahead and pretend that by the time this blog post goes live, I’ll have a baby, so my answers will be centered around that. Here’s to hoping baby girl makes her appearance by then! (Linking up with Anne and Jenna.)
COOKING | Nothing š It takes all the energy I have just to take care of my newborn and Abe! Luckily I made some freezer meals earlier, and Kyle’s at home to cook, and we’ve had some neighbors bring us meals, so we’re well taken care of.
PLANNING | Nothing. Or at least, I’m trying not to. I’m a planner by nature, so I always have a running to-do list in my head. And since the holidays are so close, my list has to do with Christmas shopping and wrapping presents and what we’ll need to take with us to Utah in December. But I keep reminding myself that I don’t need to worry about that right now. All I need to do is soak up time with my babies.
SMELLING | That sweet baby smell. Is there anything as intoxicating? I think not.
APPRECIATING | My sweet husband and all that he’s doing for me and our family right now.
ANTICIPATING | Our trip to Utah for Christmas. It will be so fun to show off our little lady to our family and friends!
