Have you ever stopped to think about this? God gave us His son. And because He gave His son, He has also given us eternal life. When we stop to think, truly think, about what this means, well, it changes everything.

God loves us. He loves us because we are His creation, and not only His creation but His children. The love of The Father transcends all, even death. Because of His love for us, we can live together with our loved ones, forever. Do we understand what that means? I’m not sure we can comprehend it in this life. But it gives me the chills just to think about it.

God sent His son, and that son, our Savior, Jesus Christ, broke the bands of death.That gift makes every other gift we have or may ever receive pale in comparison.

The gift of a Beloved Son.

The gift of everlasting life.

May we remember this season, this day, and always that God has given us the greatest gift. And may we strive to always show our love and gratitude for this gift in all we do, say and think, not only today, but always.
