Wow, 2016. Can you believe it? I feel like it was just 2007 and I was graduating from high school, or 2010 and I was getting married, or 2014 and we were welcoming our first child into the world. 2016. Time sure flies when you’re having fun.
We’re finally home from our Christmas vacation (anyone else singing the title song from that movie?) down in Utah, and while it was fun, it is nice to be home. I’m excited to organize, get back into our routine, and really dig down into my goals for the year. As you can see, I just rolled out my new WordPress blog this week. I will be blogging in the future about why and how I switched to WP, as well as posting about my new goals, vision, posting schedule for the new year. Between balancing life with two kids and trying to monetize while also staying true to myself… Well, I have a few changes I’m going to be making. But enough about that. Today I’m linking up again with Anne and Jenna for the first “currently” post of the year.
RESOLVING | quite a few things! On Tuesday I’ll be talking all about my word of the year and my resolutions and goals, but until then, you can read this post which talks about a specific goal of mine for this year.
READING | ummm, like 5 books. One I’m absolutely loving is Just Show Up. I’ll be posting a full review of it later, but I promise you, it’s amazing, and if you feel so inclined, go pick it up right now.
ORGANIZING | our house! Don’t you feel a little crazy when you come home from vacation? There is laundry to be done, cleaning to do, putting all the things away back in their place, etc., and so that’s my life right now. Couple that with the fact that we brought back all our Christmas presents with us, and, well, the organizing is never ending. Not that I mind. Organizing stuff is my favorite.
LOVING | being home. I love traveling and being with family, but it’s always nice to come home to your own space, and getting back into a normal routine.
CRAVING | healthy food, believe it or not! I so enjoyed eating junk food and treats over the last two weeks or so, but I’m also excited to jump back on the “healthy” train and making delicious and healthy meals for my family, and getting all the sugar out of my system.
What are you currently up to?
