I’m so excited to share with you guys some of my current favorite things this month! I love when I find products that work for me, and I like sharing that knowledge with you! I love reading others posts about what products they love and so I hope that you like when I do the same!
Does anyone else feel like good mascara is so hard to find? I mean, there are so many different kinds out there! I used the same 2 for years before starting to branch out, but just haven’t found one I love, even among the few high end brands I’ve tried. Recently though, a friend of mine suggested Maybelline Lash Sensational. It’s all of about $6 or $7 at Walmart, so I figured, why not give it a try, right? And guys, it was love at first application. Y’all should try this mascara, for real. It’s just what I look for in a mascara.
I love leggings. They are the perfect go-to for being a SAHM, because they make me feel a little bit more put together than just wearing sweats, but they are so, so comfy. However, I’ve never really found any that I really like. But recently these leggings were on sale at Costco, so I figured I’d give them a try. And I love them! They are still a bit thin, but not bad, especially for staying at home. I would also feel comfortable wearing them with a tunic-style top, too.
(I can’t find the exact packaging I have, but I think the one I linked to is the new one.) I picked this up on a whim at Ulta from the clearance rack. (I think it was all of like $3.97). I had been looking for a new BB/CC cream that I could just put on quickly when I needed a bit of coverage but didn’t want to wear my foundation.
For years I’ve been using my fingers to apply foundation. I dabbled with a foundation brush, but didn’t really like the way it felt or looked, so I reverted back to my fingers. I finally received a beauty blender for Christmas, and I love it! It makes my skin look great, and it feels so good going on. Definitely a win for me!
After searching for a semi-affordable leave-in product for my hair, I finally decided to try It’s A 10 a while ago. I only wash my hair once a week, so it took me like 9 months (or so?) to go through the 4 ounce bottle. When I first tried it out, I didn’t notice an astonishing difference or anything, but I didn’t notice any adverse effects either, so decided to just keep using it. However, I ran out of it a week or two ago, and the next time I washed my hair I thought, oh, I can do without it. Big. Mistake. My hair felt TERRIBLE. So it appears that it was doing a good job, even if I didn’t notice! I’ll definitely be sticking with it, and not running out again, ha.
So there you have it! A few of my current faves. What are you some of yours? Leave me some recommendations in the comments below!
