Hi friends! Welcome to this month’s installment of Fave Finds. Today I’m only going to be focusing on one brand, but it’s a brand you’re going to love, I know it.
Carseat covers are all the rage, amiright? A couple of years ago, when I was pregnant with Abe, the carseat canopy was super popular. It’s a piece of fabric that ties (or velcros) onto your car seat handle and hangs down both sides, covering baby from the cold air, the wind, and germy people, ha. Carseat covers are awesome, and 98% a need, in my opinion. (I took off 2% because ok, it’s not really a need, but it mostly is. Do you get me?) However, within the past year a different style of carseat cover has become popular, and that is what kind of cover Copper Pearl offers. Essentially these covers are strips of stretchy material sewn together to create something similar to an infinity scarf.
And they are awesome.
My beef with the carseat canopy was that any bit of wind lifted the cover up and the wind and cold air could still get in at my baby. And isn’t the point of a cover to protect the baby from that? At times it would also flop in the baby’s face, or the baby would pull it down by their face which made me a bit nervous. Suffocation and all that.
And that’s why I love our new carseat cover. It covers the entire seat, so that wind won’t disturb the cover at all, other than create a few ripples over the fabric. I also love that it’s taut around the seat, so the baby can’t pull it close to their face and that it won’t flop down in their face, either. And another awesome detail? They can be used in multiple ways. The cover doubles as both a nursing cover and a cover for the seat of your shopping cart when you take your little one out. As you know, I don’t nurse, but if I did I would be buying another one of these covers to use for solely that. (Although the beauty of this cover is that you can use the same one for both!)
Copper Pearl also sells the cutest bandana bibs, so if you’re in need of some of those, hop on over and to their site and pick up a pack! Because aren’t babies in bandana bibs the cutest ever? Yes. Yes, they are.
Copper Pearl has generously created a coupon code just for MLS readers to receive 10% off of their orders! Use the code BRITTH over at Copper Pearl’s website from now until Friday (3/25) at midnight. I can’t wait to hear what you pick out! (PS, these make great baby shower gifts!)
I received free product from Copper Pearl in exchange for an honest review.
All opinions are my own.
