My dear babies,

Let me tell you about your daddy.

He loves you. He loves you so much. You will probably not remember these days, the days of your baby- and toddler-hood, but I will. I will remember the smiles that light up your faces when he gets home, and the look of pure love that shines back at you through your dad’s eyes. He loves to hold you and throw you and snuggle you close.

He’s a fantastic daddy. I always knew he would be, it was one of the things that drew me to him in the first place. He is silly and loving and puts his family first. And He will always be there for you. Whether it’s early morning talks or afternoon ice cream runs or late night cries, he’ll be there for you.

I hope you will remember how lucky you are to have such a great dad in your life, such a fantastic role model. He’s not only a fantastic dad, but he’s a great husband, student, employee, man, human being. He loves Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ more than anything. He has an amazing testimony. He lives the Gospel. He loves people. He’s compassionate and caring and kind.

I hope you will look up to your daddy. I hope you’ll always care about his opinion. I hope you will always love him.
