I loved the book The Sacrament Is For Me so much – it’s perfect to teach my little kids about what the Sacrament is, and what it means, and why it’s so special to me. For my readers that aren’t LDS –  in the LDS Church, the Sacrament is something very special to us. We take the bread and water of the Sacrament during our church services each week, to remind of us of Christ’s sacrifice for us, and to renew our baptismal covenants (you can read more about the Sacrament here).

Abe has been loving this book. Since we received it last week, he’s asked me to read it multiple times a day. We took it to church yesterday, and it was perfect to read to Abe while the Sacrament was being passed. The Sacrament Is For Me was such a fun read, and the illustrations are a lot of fun as well.

If you have little children, I highly recommend this book as one to get, to help teach them about the Sacrament, what it is, why we have it, and how we should behave when it is being passed.
