Happy Thanksgiving, my friends.
The older I get, the more thankful I become. I’ve just become more and more aware of how truly blessed I am, as well as become more and more aware of where my blessings come from, as well. I just wanted to let you know, today, what I am thankful for. Because it never hurts to make a list.
I’m thankful for my sweet husband.
For my babies.
For the rest of my family.
For my friends.
For my house.
For Kyle’s job.
For the fact that I’m able to be a SAHM.
For this blog.
For all of you.
For the church I belong to, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. For the fact that we have living prophets to share the word of God with us.
But most of all:
For my Savior, Jesus Christ and my Father in Heaven, for their sacrifice for me and for you. Christ is my Savior, my Redeemer, my Creator, my Friend. And God is my Father, truly, truly He is. Without Him, I am nothing. And without Him, I have nothing. He is truly the one who has given me everything I have to be thankful for, and so really, a thankful heart, MY thankful heart, goes to Him.
Again, Happy Thanksgiving, my sweet friends. I hope it’s a day filled with love and laughter.
PS, I’ll be linking up with Aleigh on Sunday for her A Thankful Heart link up.
