I’m excited to sit down and catch up with you all today. Last week was an interesting one as far as naps go. Abe didn’t nap Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, so it was hard to get anything done for the blog — so sorry for my radio silence on the blog! But today I’m linking up with Anne and Catherine to share what I’m currently up to.
DISCOVERING | myself. This has been an on-going process for a while, and it’s been such a fun (and sometimes hard) process for me to go through, and I look forward to continue on with it!
CELEBRATING | Eliza’s birthday! Well, we will on Saturday at least. Can you believe she is turning one?! The last year has seriously flown by. Within the next couple of weeks I’ll be posting about Eliza and her birthday and the milestones she’s hit recently, so watch out for those! 🙂
STARTING | to get SO excited for the holidays. Kyle and I went over our plans and budget this past weekend, and we have some really fun things planned for our family. I love celebrating the holidays, and it’s even more fun with you have a husband and kids to celebrate with, too.
WEARING | cardigans and flowy shirts. Always.
GOOGLING | random things? I can’t think of anything specific I’ve been googling, ha. I just always google things when they pop in to my head!
PERSONAL |
You might remember last month that I was having a hard time. Things have been a lot better since. I think moms go through funks every so often, and that was one of mine. Like I mentioned above, I’m just enjoying discovering myself. Some times that might be painful (like last month) or it might be exciting (like now), and that’s all ok. Through it all, I’m becoming me, and that’s good.
FAMILY |
We’ve had a lot of fun over the month of October! I was supposed to write up a full recap last Friday but, oh well, that just didn’t happen. Look forward to that post coming soon, though!
GOALS |
- Stick to the budget we’ve outlined through the rest of the year.
- Book our lodgings for Florida by Thanksgiving.
- Finish the Book of Mormon by Thanksgiving.
