First off, guys, hi!!! I’m officially back from our 2 week vacation and I’m excited to reconnect with you. Today’s post is going up a liiiiitle later than normal, because we just got home on Saturday night, and I didn’t have time to grab some photos for today’s post until this morning! I’m so excited for today’s post, though, so let’s dig in!
Every so often I love to be sign up for Mommy Style Monday — I originally wanted to join in every time, but found that I just couldn’t! But I am going to sign up once a month or so, because it’s so fun to be involved. Mommy Style Mondays was created by Kiana and Madeline to showcase how different mommas have different styles, not only in clothing and fashion, but in the way they parent, create, and, well, just everything! We join together to share and celebrate those differences together, and to get ideas from other moms, as well! A few weeks ago Madeline and Kiana had the great idea to do a favorite things box swap for a MSM prompt, and I was so excited when I got the email about it! We decided to go with a seasonal (spring) emphasis for the things in our box, and it was a lot of fun to put together. And so, as you can probably guess, today for MSM we’re revealing what we received in our favorite things box and I’m so excited to share the fun things I got with you.
Shani from Sunshine & Munchkins gave to me, and I gave to Madeline. I actually know Shani in real life. I worked with her little sister for two years in college and we became really close friends, and so I met Shani through her. I was so excited to see that she’d gotten me, because I knew whatever I received would be great.
She sent me the cutest things, as you can see! My favorite thing is the cute canvas bag! I’d been eyeing different ones for the last few weeks, and now I have one. I love the cute notepad and clipboard, too, since I can never have enough paper products! And funny thing about the Cadbury eggs, I may or may not have told Shani that I wouldn’t be mad if they were one of her favorite things that she happened to pick to send me…. I guess they were! 😉
