I was given this Bible to review for (in)courage by FrontGate Media. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
One thing I love about all the different books of scripture is the peace and hope and encouragement they bring. Without fail, if I am having a bad day, I can open my scriptures, read a verse or a chapter, and feel so much better than I did before. They truly are the Word of God, and I think we are so blessed to have such easy access to them!
I’ve been a fan of DaySpring and (in)courage products for a few years now, and I was thrilled when I was sent the new (in)courage devotional bible. It’s a beautiful color, and the inside is to die for. It includes devotionals, journaling space, profiles of women of courage, and more! I’ve mentioned before that reading scriptures is not my forte, especially since having kids. I’m currently reading The Book of Mormon and intend on finishing it by the end of the year, because of a challenge given by the President and Prophet of my church (I need to post about General Conference still!), but next year our curriculum focuses on the New Testament, and I’m excited to dive into that and use this Bible as a study tool.
