Welcome to June — and the start of summer! Is anyone else’s mind blown that we are just about half-way through 2017? I seriously have no idea where this year has gone. The older I get, the faster time flies — especially since I’ve had kids! It’s insane! But enough about that, today I want to talk about summer and summertime essentials.

Sunscreen

First, sunscreen, of course! If you’re going to be spending any time out in the sun, you’re going to need some sort of SPF. I really like Blue Lizard Sensitive for our whole family. (Read more about it in this post.) I also highly recommend a facial moisturizer with SPF (like this Aveeno one) so your face will always be protected against the sun’s rays.

Noxzema

In case you forget your sunscreen… You’re going to want some of this magic stuff. It’s our secret weapon when it comes to battling sunburn. Just slather it on all over your sunburn and rinse it off. It draws out the redness and creates a cooling effect, too. We love it!

Kleenex

Whether you’re battling a summer cold, allergies or just need something to get wiped up quick, Kleenex are your go-to product. LipSense & ELF Lip Scrub

Well, you know me! I love me some LipSense and bright pops of color on my lips are perfect for summertime! Before putting on LipSense and/or when I clean my lips off at night, this ELF Lip Scrub is perfect for gently exfoliating my lips (and helping get some of the left over color off, too).

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle

If you’re spending a lot of time in the water this summer, your hair miiiight be feeling it. This awesome deep conditioner will bring back your soft and silky hair quickly, plus it smells super great.

Swimsuit

Again, if you’re spending time around the water this summer, you’ll want a cute swimsuit! I’ve never been comfortable in a swimsuit, until I found Doliray’s swim suit and swim romper. They are cute, comfy, and they cover the places I want covered. They are worth every penny and I cannot say enough good things about them and Emily, the creator. Hat

Pretty much my whole life I’ve hated wearing hats —- until I found some cute and comfy ones! Now I wear them at least once a week (hello, 6 day hair) and I usually get compliments when I do! The one shown above is from Cents of Style and I love it!
