I’m always on the look out for online boutiques, so when I saw that cute Emma from The Parker House blog had started up her own clothing boutique, Charlie Monroe, I was thrilled. I asked if she’d like to collaborate on a post, she said yes, and the rest is history. Emma has such a fun and unique style, and that style really shines through her boutique.
Emma sent me two items to try out, the Callie top and the Arrow jeans. First up, let’s talk about the top. It is the perfect holiday red, and the softest material. You can’t see in my pictures, but it’s long sleeved and features a slit side. It hangs wonderfully and isn’t too tight or too loose. I’m wearing it here with a pencil skirt and cardigan, but it will look darling with jeans or leggings, too!
Next up, the Arrow jeans. Oh my word, I am in love. They are just SO CUTE. The pictures really don’t do them justice at all. They are a lower rise than I usually wear, but are still so, so comfortable. Because I have to wear a larger size (heyyy hips) I can’t wear them without fold them up. But how cute do they look cuffed? They fit a little looser than a true skinny jean on me, more like a slim boyfriend/straight leg cut, and they are perfect. If you’re tall though, and can wear them without cuffing them, they have the cutest little slit at the ankle that you’ll love.
I also purchased the Emmitt top, and it is darling, and a great price! I’m so thrilled that I could share Charlie Monroe with you today, definitely go check out what other cute things Emma has! I can’t wait to see what other fun items Emma stocks in the future!
