Hi friends! I know I already posted about my blog anniversary giveaway earlier today (have you entered yet?!), but I’m also so excited to be a part of this month’s How We Wore It collaboration! I’ve been wanting to join in for a while, and finally signed up last month, so here we are! The basis of How We Wore It is this – we’re all given the same inspiration photo, and then we take that and run with it. Whether we match the colors, the clothing itself, or just the overall feel of the photo, it’s up to us! And then we all post our different takes on it. Fun, right? So, here’s my interpretation of our inspiration photo:

Now, I have to say, I was envisioning the background of my photo quite differently. We went out to eat the day we took these, and I was going to take a few photos outside of the building, for a more urban feel. However it was so busy, so I didn’t attempt to get the shot I wanted. Soooo here we are, in our front yard. Which I guess matches the original photo better anyway, ha. I loved this inspiration photo though, who doesn’t love a good graphic tee? The one I’m wearing from Tink & Key is a favorite of mine. The material is so soft, and it is the perfect fit.

Do you want to see a bonus picture? Of course you do. So here it is. I give you…. “My son won’t take a photo with me on a real camera because he likes to take selfies on my phone and see exactly what he’s doing”:

But really. He’s so used to being able to see himself via the front-facing camera on my phone he has full-blown melt downs if I try to make him stand still and look at the real camera (or even the rear-facing phone camera). #kidsthesedays
