Does any one else have toddlers and preschoolers that are ravenous little beasts? I tell you, my kids eat food like it’s their job. I mean, I guess it is, since they’re growing and all, but man. We go through a lot of food in this house. I’m literally typing this while my 4 year old cries because I told her she can’t have ANOTHER snack.
I’ve been trying my best to give my kids fairly nutritious snacks these days. My first two kids are 19 months apart, with their baby brother coming 2.5 years after, so we’ve been in survival mode a long time over here. Throw in the fact that Abe is super picky, well, sometimes it’s hard to get them to eat at all! But like I said, these days we try to be a little more conscientious about the food that we’re all putting into our bodies. That’s why I love the Earth’s Best® brand of food. They offer snacks that have nutritious value, like the Peanut Butter Puffs that have no artificial flavors or colors, are USDA certified organic, non- GMO and gluten free, have only 5 ingredients, and have no preservatives. What?! I love that. I love that more and more companies are making the switch to organic and non-GMO ingredients, because it truly makes a difference.
These days there are a variety of reasons why we’re eating snacks. Whether it’s to keep the kids entertained while we’re on the go, while we’re enjoying some fun family time, or just to help fill the void before dinner, snacks are an important part of our lives. And I’m so grateful to have found Earth’s Best® Peanut Butter Puffs so I can feel better knowing that my kids are getting wholesome snacks that they love.
Bonus? For most infants with severe eczema and/or egg allergy who are already eating solid foods, introducing foods containing ground peanuts between 4 and 10 months of age and continuing consumption may reduce the risk of developing peanut allergy by 5 years of age. FDA has determined, however, that the evidence supporting this claim is limited to one study. Double bonus? You can pick them up at Walmart, both in store (in the toddler food aisle) and online! So that’s a win-win for everyone. So if you’re looking for a new kid-approved snack to try, pick up a package next time you’re at the store! I know you’ll be happy with them. And happy kids equals a happy mom 😉
